In 2010....

... we got to know each other, my little princess and I. Seeing as Nahla was only 6 days old when 2009 turned into 2010, it was this past year we truly fell in love with each other, over and over again...

... we spent a lot of amazingly wonderful time with family- in both Norway and Ireland. Therese all of a sudden went from being a little girl to becoming a big girl and Naha's favorite "dadda"...

... we have traveled A LOT. Close to 40 flights to be exact- and Nahla is a seasoned holiday-maker at the tender age of 1! Here is her very first international flight- at 6 weeks old!

... we have marveled at the sheer amount of gifts and well-wishes and love we have gotten- and feel very very blessed...

... we celebrated St. Patrick's Day in style...

... caught up on sleep in the strangest of places...

... we welcomed spring and celebrated Easter in Ireland...

... and had fun at a variety of family birthdays and parties...

... we (eh, maybe just me!) enjoyed A LOT of take-away lattes...

... consumed during A LOT of long walks!

... we took Bestemor and Bestefar with us and traveled to beautiful Bristol to visit Daddy/BF- and enjoyed the feeling of spring...

... and in May Nahla discovered food- and LOVED it! Weaning, DONE!

... we celebrated "Norway Day" (A.K.A. May 17th) in Finnsnes with Bestemor and Bestefar...

... and Mummy DIY'ed her little heart out making invitations and tablecards and party favors and lots more for Nahla's Christening...

... and my 30th birthday was celebrated en famile in fabulous style in BEAUTIFUL AMAZING Paris...

... and despite the stress of travel and a new baby, love has still been in the air for BF and me!

... our biggest ever love, Nahla, got bigger and more beautiful and more amazing with every passing day!

... Summer finally arrived in Oslo and our social life seemed to revolve around being outside and taking walks around the harbor and enjoying some refreshing ice-lattes...

... and in July we hot-footed it to Sweden and beautiful Örebro where we enjoyed lazy days with family...

... before returning to Oslo to celebrate Nahla's Christening Day with both our families.

... In August we flew to both Finnsnes and Ireland and back to Oslo again...

... and Nahla learnt how to sit!

... we worried summer was coming to an end...

... but didn't have time to worry too much, as we were having fun family times with Oldermor Ann, Nahla's Great Grandmother.

... early autumn days in Dublin were made perfect by fun play-dates and catch-up's with old friends and colleagues...

... and back in Oslo again we make, bake and celebrate auntie Tonje's baby shower!

... princess Nahla is getting the crawling business figured out...

... and more and more teeth are coming through- and with no teething issues, who can complain?!

... double-play-dates were the most fun and we relaxed with lazy days up the north again...

... before returning to Oslo to realize baby-proofing should now have been firmly on the agenda!

... September 16th we welcome EMINE SOFIE into the world- and I am made an auntie for the very first time! Surrounded by love and babies, we all feel blessed!

... and back in Ireland we are all super-happy to be reunited with Daddy/BF!

... we have successfully moved on to lumpier food...

... and realized that autumn was now finally here.

... back in Ireland again we have fun on a day trip to Kilkenny...

... before we fly back to Oslo to celebrate Halloween in style!

... crisp autumn days were just made for trips to the park...

... but winter took us by surprise on a trip to Finnsnes in November!

... Mummy struggled to fathom how her tiny baby now was fast approaching her first birthday...

... and how teeny timy Emine was already nearly 3 months old!

... winter time meant fun in the snow...

... but when the elements took over-hand when in Ireland too, we must admit it was all getting a tad too much!

... back in Oslo we started to prepare for Christmas...

... and minus the fact that Daddy/BF got caught up in the biggest snowfall in recent Irish history and delayed for two days, we spent a magical Christmas with family in Oslo...

... all rounded perfectly off by the grand celebration of Nahla's very first birthday!

... And now, having spent some lovely post-Christmas days in Ireland, in the company of our family here, waved good-bye to the old year in style and just about started on this new one, I find myself thanking all the lucky stars for the year that we have had, for the times we have shared, for the health we have been blessed with, for the family we love, for the friends who lift us up, for the love that surrounds us and for the hope and excitement and joy we feel about what lies ahead! Happy new year!
