Cute Diners

Fashionista mama Nicole Richie was spotted taking her tots out for dinner in West Hollywood last night. Harlow, 3, and Sparrow, 2, looked trendy as usual, clearly influenced by their stylish mama! So cute!

Currently Doing...

... very little. Apart from reading the latest issue of Elle Decoration Norway, watching an old episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and eating my way through a bar of Green & Blacks organic dark chocolate. Happy Wednesday!

Baby No. 2!

No, No, it's not me. At least not that I am aware of! But the always gorgeous Kourtney Kardashian on the other hand, has confirmed today that she is 9 weeks pregnant with baby no. 2.

In a statement to E! the yummy reality mama, 32, said: "Scott and I are so excited to announce that we are expecting our second child and are thrilled to be expanding the love in our family."
Kourtney first revealed the news to this week's issue of Us Weekly, and can be seen gracing the cover sporting a very tell-tale glow.

Kourtney and Scott, 28, already have a son Mason, who turns two on December 14.

Happy baby news, guys!

Today's Yummy Mummy (To Be) Style Crush

The always yummy Jennifer Garner was spotted on a solo Starbucks outing in Brentwood, California on yesterday. The now very pregnant actress kept her balance as she carried a tray of coffees. Oh, red cups! How I miss you!

Jen and Ben, who are already parents to two girls, are said to be excited to be expecting a little boy this time around.

12 Things You Might Not Know...

... about me:

1. I am addicted to sparkling water. Since I quit drinking the odd Diet Coke as a treat and now drink no minerals, my sparkling water consumption has gone through the roof. I customize it widely with apple slices, a few fresh raspberries or just a bit of lemon. Go crazy!

2. I really hate negative people. It drives me semi-demented to hear people moan about stress or weight or boyfriends. It is YOUR life. If you're not happy, go make changes.

3. I cannot, and I mean really CAN NOT watch films that are even remotely science fiction-ish/unrealistic/not about real people. The Matrix. Avatar. Star Wars. No. No. And no.

4. I only wear socks if it is really really cold. I am a bit of a boho-princess and prefer to walk around the house barefoot.

5. I think falling in love/moving in/getting pregnant/having a baby all in the time it usually takes people to decide if they should try going on holidays together was super-romantic, if utterly unplanned.

6. I cry at the beginning - and the end - of Love Actually. Every time.

7. I have only ever kissed 5 men. And I can't decide if that is sweet or crazy and that I have missed out on a whole lot of great kissers!

8. I HATE flying. Something most people burst out laughing when they hear as I tend to fly A LOT. But really, I am terrified.

9. I speak to my parents SEVERAL times day. I have AWESOME parents.

10. I buy a ton of cookbooks. And I read them frequently. Admire the yummy cupcakes/risottos/quiches. Bookmark the pages even. Then fail miserably to cook/bake/roast it all. I really really want to be a domestic goddess a la Nigella. The kind of woman who make her husband salivate the minute he walks in the front door with the scents lingering from the kitchen. I am not there yet. Not even close.

11. I think giving birth was the most amazing thing ever. And would in a heartbeat commit to doing it several times more.

12. I need to write everything down in my carry-it-everywhere calendar/notebook from Ordning & Reda. Digital calendars and mobile devises does not fill me with the same feeling of having written stuff down.

So there you go. 12 little and bigger things you now know about me!

Please, Mummy...

Bling Bling

Dear Santa: I really wouldn't mind some proper iPhone bling under my Christmas tree this year. Or any other bling, for that matter!

Disney Darlings

How can you not just HEART the Alba-Warrens?! They truly must be one of the sweetest families in Hollywood. And this weekend the cute foursome was spotted out and about again, this time paying a visit to Disneyland. Honor looked to be in utter heaven, as I imagine every 3-year old must feel when brought to The Happiest Place On Earth. And as for little Haven, all snug in her mamas arms, I am sure she thought it was all pretty awesome too!

United Bakeries...

... is the perfect place for a little family outing on a frosty Sunday morning. Frothy lattes. Triple chocolate scones. Buzzing with happy holiday shoppers. Cold hands. Red cheeks. Twinkling fairy lights. It's all good!

A Perfectly Acceptable Way...

... to spend a Sunday evening if you ask me! Although; not anywhere nearly as good as the book it should be said.

Art Factory

Nahla has discovered painting. Which, you know, in some ways are great. I love the fact that she dabbles in all things creative and artistic, bless her little socks. And as her mother I totally think it is the cutest thing ever when she sits in her high chair, bent over her latest creation, little tongue eagerly sticking out of her mouth.

But, you see, it ain't all cute, Especially after I discovered paint on her brand new Odd Molly dress. Paint on the rug. Paint on Igglepiggle. Paint in her hair. (Note: This would not be such a disaster had it not been for the fact that Nahla HATES washing her hair. I mean; HATE. It sounds like she is being murdered slowly whenever I try to as-carefully-as-possible rinse out the ultra-mega-mild shampoo. No more tears my backside!) I can go on: Paint on our vintage and oh-so-beautiful old dining table. Paint on the side of the washing machine (a mystery, I know!)

And so yeah; as a mother I clearly think my little artist is the most talented thing to ever have come out of preschool. Goes without saying. On the other hand, my slightly obsessive compulsive side, who NEEDS to have a home that looks like it is about to grace the pages of Elle Decoration, is a tad more apprehensive. As one would understand. It was the smear of bright red (why, oh why did I let her paint with such an unforgiving colour?!) paint on my new Filippa K boots that did tipped me over the edge, I think. From now on, any painting done in this household will happen prison-style under extreme supervision...

1st Sunday Of Advent...

... is always celebrated by lighting the very first of your four advent candles. The official start of the holiday season. My absolute favorite time of year. Roll on snow, winter, joy, love, family, frost, mulled wine, sparkly dresses, baubles, Christmas trees, reindeers, hot chocolate, holiday food, gingerbread cookies, eggnog, presents, fairy lights and FUN!

.... you arrived. And taught me what life really is all about.

Time Flies...

... and little Emine Sofie, who, really, we feel like was only born like yesterday, is already 14 1/2 months and very quickly learning the odd trick from her cousin Nahla.
