My "Summer Style" Pins...

... on Pinterest, is making me LONG for summer in a whole new way. Like; I look at these pictures and YEARS for heat, sunshine, maxi dresses, iced lattes, saltwater, the smell of suncream, bikinis, Havaianas and sand between my toes! Does these pictures make you feel that way??

Spring Is In The Air...

... and I for one am LOVING it! Seriously; winter is just not my thing. And never will be. So now, having flipped the calendar to the month of March, and with Easter only being around the corner, I am ready for the happy, sunny, colourful days of spring. And as a result, pastel colours have started sneaking their way into the house again. Tulips on the table; is there anything sweeter? And my total crush colour of the season: Turqouise. LOVE!

Summer Ready...

... even though it is only the 20th of January - and summer is still a long way off. But here's dreaming! And wardrobe planning!

Two Weeks Until This...

... and this being: Greece, sunshine, beach, family-time, souvlaki, feta cheese, olives, Korres, sunscreen,  sandcastles, relaxation and pure JOY. 

Only One More Week...

... till this mother/daugthter duo once again heads for Oslo and some sweet family time! Also, as Oslo Fashion Week is well under way then, this mama is hoping to sneak in some show-time will devoted Bestemor (Grandmother) babysits my little munchkin. And as our week in Oslo will come to an end, sure Daddy arriving a week in the Greek isles doesn't sound to shabby either. Hello; summer!

Hello Weekend

Friday. Phew. Not only have Nahla and Mummy traveled to Norway last Sunday to enjoy a few days of family-time, sunshine, shopping and holiday, but this busy mama has also had her hands (and head) full with articles, deadlines and research - oh, the life of a freelance journalist! So my lack of blog posts of late is purely down to the fact that I have not even had time to think about blogging, let alone find the time to do so. But; better times are ahead, I assure you!

Making Ice Lollies...

... from fresh juice seems like the most perfect rainy day activity ever. YUM.

The sun is shining, my garden door is open, I have an iced latte in front of me AND I am having one of those days when I truly remember what made me become a journalist, where my fingers just type out sentences before I even know I have them made up in my head, and everything just seems to sound smart, funny and to the point. Hello Good Work Day!

Paris - My Favorite City In The World

Words does not really do Paris justice. Even as someone who writes for a living and am fully aware how one expresses oneself in writing, with Paris words will never cut it. It has to be seen. Smelt. Felt. Walked about. Touched. Tasted. Macaroons. Espressos on pavement brasseries. Montmartre at sunset. Sacre Caeur at night. The view. The Eiffel Tower light-show after dark. The flowers lining Champs Elysée. The sticky heat. The Latin Quarter. We love it. Will always love it. And will always keep coming back for more. The most beautiful city in the world.

The Hot Weather Continues...

... and we're not complaining. Not even one little bit! Bring on more! More sun. More summer-dresses. More ice cream. More, more, more!

Haven...

... is a sun-drenched garden, a little pink swimming-pool, some ice cold juice and just lazy lazy weekend bliss!

Working From Home...

... is totally OK on days like today! Iced latte (Nespresso shot + ice cubes + vanilla soy milk + blender = YUM!) + my new emergency-trip-to-Ikea garden furniture + MacBook Pro = Pretty decent day in "the office"!

Essie Love

My currents obsession with all shades of pink is making me fall head over heels for these too-cute shades from cult nail brand Essie. These are, from left: A Crewed Interest, Tart Deco - which I am currently rocking - and Boathouse. So perfect for summer!

Summer Hair

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this colour! It is totally "Blonette", AKA half and half between blonde and brunette, and so so natural and gorgeous looking! I think I need to get some more dark into my own blonde tresses! And as for the braids, how perfect for the beach!

This Summer...

 ... I want to wear my hair like this... SO freakin' pretty!...

... and I want to fill my wrists with candy coloured bracelets like these - neon ROCKS.

 .. and I want to lounge around on a roof-terrace that looks EXACTLY like this one! Seriously, this and some ice-cold raspberry mojitos would make me one happy mama!

Today's Fashion Loves

My new-ish pink River Island jeans, which has climbed up to my favorite's list lately, as the weather is hotting up and coloured jeans just look so, well, fresh and cool and very 2012!

Seriously, I need to accomplish two things: Learn how to make friendship bracelets - which I am sure I was perfectly capable of in like 4th grade - and find THIS orange nail polish! So amazing against tanned hands - and much more This Year than just regular red nails! LOVE!
