It is amazing the amount of energy you get from spending a blissful day in the company of family. Having had my little cousin Therese with me all day today when out and about shopping, we ended the day with a lovely dinner in my sister's brand new house- where we couldn't care less about mountains of unpacked boxes and a slight lack of furniture. It's so their dream home, and with baby number one due in only a couple of months time now, I think it is fair to say that the two of them are pretty much radioactive with happiness!
And after a lovely dinner there, Nahla, Mummy, Therese and my mum- who is in Oslo for a week- yeah- to mind Therese before she starts school on Monday- headed home for a "girly sleepover" chez Mummy and Nahla. And while the tiniest Princess is fast asleep in her bed-after a lot of fun playtime with her beloved 6-year old "cousin", the other Princess is still wide awake- reminding this Mummy how much she loves those child-free hours at night! But I am not complaining- sure after a day like this no one can!
