Today Nahla and Mummy went out for lunch/shopping/coffee with super sweet friend K and her adorable twin baby boys Isak and Elias. Nahla totally loved her double-date and found it super-amusing having not one other baby but two to play with! And after a rather successful round of shopping- where Nahla spend more time on the floor and Mummy's arm than in her Bugaboo- we headed to a nice café for some much needed salad and latte!
And now, hours later, i am still floored with admiration of twin- mothers! Any mothers with sets of multiple babies really. Because when I sometimes find it hard to make time stretch to everything that needs doing chez us, I now know that having two requires a whole new level of planning, organization, patience and just general amazing amazing being-a-mum skills! K, who also has another little boy, J, aged 4, is clearly on a different level than me in terms of having hectic days- and is a total pro at it! So in awe!
