Sun, Sand and Shopping in Sweden!

Ah, the sweetness of home! I think maybe the most important thing about going away, be it for a holiday or whatever, is so that upon your arrival home, you have a whole new appreciation of your home. This goes for both princess and myself. Because when we arrived home late last night, not only was Mummy delighted to once again be within the comfort of the four walls of home, Nahla let out a scream of joy when she clapped eyes on her bathtub and toothbrush holder. (Different strokes for different folks; for Mummy it was her Nespresso and washing machine that did it, for cupcake her beloved bath and toys.)

But this all makes it sound like we did not enjoy our little Swedish get-away, which couldn't be farther from the truth. We had an amazing time; relaxed and bathed and shopped and ate with my amazing amazing family. And Bestemor and Bestefar (Granny and Granddad) were equally delighted to have their beloved grandchild there with them, and spoilt her rotten with cuddles, clothes and toys! Seriously, my daughter- who I swore blind would not make me drown in garishly colored plastic stuff- now has toys to rival a medium size Toys'R'Us!

Anyway.. Days were spent relaxing by the pool, relaxing by the barbeque, relaxing by shopping- as relaxing as that can get with a 6-month old! Thank God for Swedish coffee-shop Espresso House is all I can say! But a lovely lazy relaxing time was had by all in lovely lovely Örebro!
