Today was yet another glorious summer day- although a tad hazy, making it slightly less hot than yesterday, which suited both Nahla and me. Having slept till 9.50 A.M(!) this morning, cupcake and I went for a leisurely walk into town, stopping here and there to look at some ducks in a pond, buy some flowers and enjoy a chocolate scone from United Bakeries. Yum. Later in we sat down at Wayne's Coffee, one of our very regular haunts when out and about, for some mango puree for princess and an iced latte for Mummy. The view wasn't bad either, all sparkly sea and whiter than white sailboats. A perfect summer's day. And now, having done some packing for out little trip to Sweden next week to meet up with Bestemor and Bestefar (my parents and Nahla's beloved grandparents), Nahla is fast asleep in her bed, and I have curled up to watch Four Weddings and a Funeral- love love love Hugh Grant!- and enjoy hot tea and cold fresh watermelon. Bliss!
