Rainy Days, Baby Cuddles And More Family Fun

Today Nahla and Mummy braved the chilly rainy autumn weather here in Oslo to visit brand new little Emine Sofie, who is now finally home from hospital and seemed to be loving being at home with her adoring mummy and daddy. Check out Nahla's new Zara winter coat and cool tights we picked up in Marks & Spencer's; my little winter clad mini fashionista!

Despite having put on some weight since being born just over two weeks ago, Emine still seems TINY and I struggle to remember Nahla ever being that small. She is utterly gorgeous though, and I so cannot wait to see her grow, learn, play, develop and get lovelier by the day!

Nahla was not too bothered by her new cousin however, and way more interested in scooting around the floor and looking for things to break. (She managed one candlelight holder and a couple of newspapers in the hour we were there) I am now getting a sense of what mothers are on about when using the phrase "run off my feet"!

And after a lovely day spent with family (Bestemor and Bestefar are down in Oslo as well for a week, totally soaking up their newest grandchild and equally doting on their first!), Nahla and Mummy headed home for a quiet Sunday evening in, where Mummy even got to try out her newest purchase, this gorgeous candleholder from Ting in Oslo. And now with a glass of red wine in front of me, candles lit, baby in bed and a stack of new magazines by my side; cold dark nights, I salute you!
