My Top Picks For Presents- Babies
It's December 11th, and Christmas is officially less than two weeks away. Mummies and Daddies- well, probably mostly mummies if we are being realistic- the world over are running around like headless chickens trying to scramble together a selection of gifts that will make their little hopefuls think the elves themselves made it especially for them.
Let's face it, though, babies will more or less be oblivious to the fact it's December 25th. They can't tell you what they'd like Santa to bring- let alone write an actual list- and will, of course, be just as interested in the wrapping paper. And yet you know you are still going to fall for the holiday spirit and get them some fabulous pressies!
And just in case you need some inspiration, here are some of my very own favorites for the smallest people in your life:
If you, like me, love the idea of giving baby a keepsake for their very first Christmas, a beautiful personalised print might be the end to your gift-hunt. With these super-cute ones from Evie The Elephant all you have to do is choose a colour and add a name, and voila; the folk at Evie The Elephant will do the rest. Easy, Peasy, Click-a-few-buttons breezy!
Blocks are ALWAYS a toddler winner. And these pretty pink ones from MegaBlocks would be perfect for the little princess in your life. And don't worry, they come in less feminine colors too!
How can little baby Ugg's not make you sigh with the cuteness of it all?! Nahla had a little pair when she was just born, but that are now far too small and safely packed away for any future little munchkins. But a new pair for Christmas, to keep her little teeny toes warm, might be just perfect.
If you can hear the pitter patter of little feet in your life; chances are one or more Fisher Price products are already lurking in your house. And with good reason, as little people love their fun and colorful toys. I know a little girl who will wake up to this little horse on Christmas morning! (Available from Toys'R'Us and all good toy stores.)
My munchkin might just be a little too young for this beautiful dolls-house this Christmas- but for next year, I plan to make sure Santa gets the number for Sprell toystore in Oslo!
Make your little tot the coolest guy on the block- and his daddy green with envy- with this amazing amazing retro inspired toy car! Available from here.
And for the little monster in your life, this little suit from Baby Gap will keep them happy, snug and crazy cute!
Happy shopping!
