Birthday Party Planning

Despite the fact that her 4th birthday is still 3 1/2 months away - and even writing this I feel like crying. I mean; how can my baby girl be nearly 4 - Nahla has already started to make plans for her upcoming party. Now; in the true spirit of any 3 1/2 year old party-girl, these plans are subject to change on a daily basis. If not even more frequently. Currently she is all about a circus themed bash. Which, to be fair, could be pretty darn cool. I mean; stripes, blue and red, animals, clowns and so on and so forth. But coming across these über-cute pictures of little Stella MsDermott (the very hip and happening daughter of Tori Spelling and hubbie Dean McDermott, off course), I am thinking a fairy-themed party isn't looking too shabby either. I LOVE the "paint-your-own-flower-pot" activity! And as for the candy bar?! Yes, please!

Happy Birthday To Me!

 

And this little family celebrated with a good old-fashioned birthday party before Mummy and Daddy headed into Dublin to indulge in a night's stay in the amazing Dylan Hotel, tapas dinner in our favorite Salamanca's and lots and lots of bellinis! Hello 32!

Blue Cupcakes...

... are just about the yummiest thing ever when you are 2! And when you are 31 too, to be honest.

Nahla and Mummy went to adorable I & E's birthday party earlier today and utterly enjoyed both the company and the baked goods.

And as it is currently - 19, 8 c outside (yes, seriously. That is holidaying in Norway for you!), we are enjoying a very snug Sunday evening in. Stay warm!

How PERFECT will these be for Nahla's birthday?! I mean; she is OBSESSED with Minnie and Mickey, and BF and I have long since decided that we just have to bring her to Florida and Disney World in a couple of years! Love!

Hello Halloween

As many know, I am no fan of the famous Hello Kitty kitten when it comes to clothes - and Nahla's wardrobe is pretty much devoid of the cute little feline. But even I could tolerate these very cute hello Kitty decorated pumpkins! Such a sweet idea for a childrens Halloween party!

I love love love these baby shower invitations by Minted! Now all I need is somebody to get pregnant so I can throw an almighty amazing baby shower - including sending out the sweetest custom made invitations. And trust me, there are like a million more super-nice designs to choose from, so I actually think my biggest problem would be choosing which one to go with.

A Party Fit For The Easter Bunny...

... is what I want to throw when Easter actually rolls around in a few weeks. Lots of color. Lots of twigs and leaves and eggs. Lots of optimism and spring time feeling! Balmy weather, long bright evenings, cold drinks, pretty dresses and garden parties; I am ready!

Moore Foodie Inspiation

I just came back from a lovely lunch meeting with an amazingly talented foodstylist. Seriously, Hanne's recipes and photographs made my mouth water! And now I find myself even more so inspired to host some fabulous parties where I can aim to locate my inner Nigella!

This Dress...

... would just be SO perfect for all the Christenings, weddings, press parties and general nights out I have penciled into my diary for spring. Utterly stunning - plus would look FABULOUS with my silver Louboutins! Perfect perfect perfect.

Spring Entertaining

I cannot even begin to explain how much I long long long for spring - and this longing is not being helped much by the fact that it is STILL SNOWING! Ahhhh! When is it ever going to end?! And all I want to do really, is have good friends and family over and celebrate with yummy spring food, freshly colored decor, the pinkest of pink macaroons and just embrace the new season! Looks like I'll have to wait a while, though...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these cute images of her daughter's 5th B-day party that this creative mama organized. The black and pink balloons are cute AND cool and the idea of a hot-dog stand where the kiddies help themselves surely is genius if you ask me. And as for the goodie-bags made out of beautifully simple brown paper bags; perfection. Just goes to show; children's birthday parties CAN be a stylsih affair too!
