Not one to normally make it to the top of my style crush poll, first-time mum-to-be Selma Blair looked summery and casual when spotted out and about in her Beverly Hills neighborhood on Friday. Ah, I remember that stage she is at now in her pregnancy, when you're well over that "just-look-chubby" phase and your bump is lovely and round - but not too big and exhausting like it is towards the end - and you just feel womanly and sexy and fertile and perfect. Reminds me both how much I can't wait to do it all again and how glad I was the day I finally went into labour 11 days past my due date and I knew that FINALLY I was done being pregnant this time around!
Anyway, back to Selma. The actress and her boyfriend Jason Bleick, a fashion designer, announced in January that they are expecting their first child together. The baby is due later this spring. According to gossip magazines the pregnancy was a surprise to the couple, but they couldn't be happier. They couple has also according to rumors given each other promise rings but have no plans to marry just yet.
So on trend having an unplanned love child these days - and as usual I love being part of all things trendy! My own munchkin could not have been more unplanned - and yet turned out to be the best thing ever to happen in my life!
