All For Children...
... is the name of the latest collection where H&M cooperates with Unicef. It hits stores in October, and I will be first in line to snap up this amazing skirt for my little fashionista!

Think Pink

Today Nahla and Mummy went shopping for some new play-school gear for Nahla. First of all, a rucksack was much needed, and after stumbling across a vast amount of them, from H&M to M&S, that all had that annoying oh-my-God-think-of-a-new-cartoon-soon Hello Kitty kitten plastered all over them, we were delighted with the FjÀllreven Mini Kanken - in pink off course. And then, jut because this Mummy was on a "I-am-giving-in-to-her-love-of-all-things-pink" day, sure we threw in a pair of pink Converse too, just for good measure! And as Nahla herself declared it: "My favorite color is pink, Mamma. Pink and pink." Uhm, OK, Nahla!

Tutu Tot
Nahla - and Mummy for that matter - have an utter love of all things amazing. And fashion'y. And fabulous. And so it goes without saying that tutu skirts rock the house. And that we, between us, have built up a nice little collection. The latest one? This hot pink little number from Next - which, to Mummy's horror, only came in sizes as far up as 12 years old. Crazy, I know!

Today's Yummy Mummy Style Crush

The hands of time seem to barely touch ex-supermodel Cindy Crawford. The 45-year old looks more like the older sister of her equally gorgeous daughter Kaia, 10, than her mother. Clearly Kaia is not just genetically blessed by her mother, but has also inherited her great taste in fashion. What a stylish pair!

Jessica Alba and her little mini-me Honor Marie, 3, were spotte das they attended the opening of a new Splendid store in Beverly Hills over the weekend. Looks like little Honor is well ready for winter in her cute coat and hat ensemble!
Jessica, who is looking totally back to her fab self following the birth of her second daughter, Haven Garner, in August, claims it was pre-natal yoga and just eating sensibly that stopped her gaining too much weight during her second pregnancy. And clearly it worked, as this yummy mama is looking super-hot for the holidays!

Girls' Day Out

I fell in love with this sweet mother-and-daughter fashion spread in the latest issue of Kamille Mor & Barn that I picked up in the basement in work the other day (yet another benefit of working for a big magazine house, there are like magazines everywhere you turn! My magazine shopping expenses has dropped dramatically since I started this job!).
Anyway, back to fashion spread. I think it just look like such a sweet day out, and cannot wait to share so many of these days with my very own little princess! Note to self: It will more than likely be another couple of years, as Nahla is currently going through a "I-hate-shops-and-must-torture-Mummy-with-proper-terrible-two's-meltdowns-whenever-she-goes-near-a-shop" phase. Which I am hoping will pass. Soon. But after that, oh all the mama and baby shopping we will indulge in for sure!

Dress Love
I must admit that I am slightly in love with N's new dress that we picked up in Next in Dundrum Shopping Centre last weekend. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the stripes combined with the tutu-skirt and only WISH it had also come in my size!

Come And Gone...
Nahla quickly had enough of her Halloween costume (she is a destined fashionista, that one, no sooner does she throw herself on one trend, before quickly moving on to the next!), and wanted to wear her cosy poncho for the rest of the evening, as we waited for the trick or treat-ers to come to our door. And now; ready for bed!
Next Kids...

... had a ton of cute stuff for my little munchkin when I "fell" in there earlier today. And so we came out with the most amazingly cool dress - seriously, I nearly cried when I heard it did not come in adult sizes too! And sequined leggings - so so cool styled with Nahla's new over-sized grey knitted jumper from Zara! This girl has a wardrobe to die for, I am telling you!

Happy H&M Kids Party

Love this latest H&M campaign for children! Such happy cute images! I tend to pick up basics more so than whole outfits for Nahla from the high-street giant, as I think - at least since I had her - they have tended to stick that annoying Hello Kitty on practically ALL of their children's clothes - which I can't stand. So we have tended to pick up neutral cardigans or white tights and the likes. But even this fashion forward Mummy was charmed by the colours and mood of this new collection, so I feel that tomorrow might call for a trip into the city post work and play school... Happy shopping; isn't that just what we like?!
