My "Summer Style" Pins...

... on Pinterest, is making me LONG for summer in a whole new way. Like; I look at these pictures and YEARS for heat, sunshine, maxi dresses, iced lattes, saltwater, the smell of suncream, bikinis, Havaianas and sand between my toes! Does these pictures make you feel that way??

Asian Flavored Salmon...

... was nothing short of AMAZING. Quick, simple and healthy; just the way we like it! 

Red Onion, Spinach and Goat's Cheese Pizza

... with the perfect thin crust. Seriously, it does not get a lot better. Especially if you, like me, is COMPLETELY obsessed with goat's cheese - or chevre or some of you prefer to call it. Perfection. Is is allowed to say that I am missing that nice glass of red wine that would go oh-so-perfect with this meal?! Because I do. Not enough to drink, off course. But enough to look forward to making this again come summer - and having this with a little vino on the side. YUM.

My Cupcake Cutie...

... was only willing to pose for Christmas card pictures after I bribed her with her favorite sticky lemon and poppyseed cupcake from Starbucks. What can I say; an addiction to Starbucks start early in our family!

Avocado...

... is most definitively a craving this time around. Especially on cracker bread with cheese. And some cucumber. Seriously; try it, it is so YUM. And surely not the worst thing you can crave?!

Two Weeks Until This...

... and this being: Greece, sunshine, beach, family-time, souvlaki, feta cheese, olives, Korres, sunscreen,  sandcastles, relaxation and pure JOY. 

Only One More Week...

... till this mother/daugthter duo once again heads for Oslo and some sweet family time! Also, as Oslo Fashion Week is well under way then, this mama is hoping to sneak in some show-time will devoted Bestemor (Grandmother) babysits my little munchkin. And as our week in Oslo will come to an end, sure Daddy arriving a week in the Greek isles doesn't sound to shabby either. Hello; summer!

... to an even fresher day! This mama is all played out after hours of park, playtime and family fun!

Few Things Beat...

... going to bed on a Sunday night when you know tomorrow is a Bank Holiday Monday - meaning an extra day off. Hello extended-weekend-feeling! JOY!

... from fresh juice seems like the most perfect rainy day activity ever. YUM.

DIY Manicure...

The beauty of working from home is that you can decide to do your nails mid how-to-shrink-you-pores feature. And so I did. And today; if I may say so myself, I am more than a little impressed with myself! Glitter french mani? Check. I KNEW that Deborah Lippmann nailpolish would pay for itself one day.

... at my very favorite local café; VDC@Home. Sometimes you just gotta' start the day right! Happy Tuesday!

Fall Dreaming

Maybe it is the rather catastrophic summer weather we are having, or maybe it is being a journalist and always being a season ahead, but I cannot help but swooning over all the amazing fall/winter preview press releases that are flooding my inbox these days. The latest one? These amazing shots for H&M Home's upcoming interior season, where they are super-influenced by cowboys and indians, it seems, and rustic colours, navajo-patterns, leather and and horses feature heavily. How fab. How chic. How v. Isabel Marant-y of them! 

Today's Smoothie...

... also inhaled somewhere between kitchen, car and playschool: Soy yoghurt, fresh orange juice, pineapple and melon - with a little coconut-oil and a handful of hempseed thrown in for good measure. YUM!

All For Children...

... is the name of the latest collection where H&M cooperates with Unicef. It hits stores in October, and I will be first in line to snap up this amazing skirt for my little fashionista!

Loving On A Sunday...

High Carb...

... today. Bagels + cream cheese + avocado + hot chocolate = YUM.

Family Fun Day...

... sure takes it out of you - or me to tell you the truth. Having face-painted sixteen spidermen, countless princesses, some butterflies, a couple of tigers, more than a few clowns, a zombie and what I swear felt like 400 pirates, this mama was SO happy to be sinking into the sofa with a rather large glass of wine, homemade pizza and the softest, most well-worn Juicy-bottoms ever. Roll on back-to-back episodes of Kourtney and Kim take New York on E! Entertainment channel!
