Friday Morning

Freshly bakes scones (Nahla does not have playschool on Fridays, so we have extra time to really indulge these days) and very nice new tea makes for a perfect chilled out almost-weekend breakfast on such a rainy and miserable day. I am very happy that I have finally perfected my scone-recipe after having to thrown out X amount of tries as they were more like rock than yummy tasty bread. Practice make perfect!

Ready For Bed

A Jane Green book downloaded to my Kindle Fire, a cup of Detox tea from Kusmi and a candle lit by my bedside; I am ready for an hour of me-time before lights are out!

My Favorite Girlies

Having written and written and made calls and written some more and looked for somebody somewhere to give me the quotes I needed, I plan to spend this rather chilly Tuesday evening in the company of my very favorite TV ladies! Little pink box; here I come!

Today...

... I plan to have the perfect girl's day out with my amazing mum and my adorable little girl. We are going to head out for a bit of a play in the park, followed by a trip to the shops and topped off by a café visit to indulge in perfect frothy lattes and babychinos to warm us up on this cold winters' day. Sounds blissful? It will be!

Freezing Cold Monday...

... and I would know, as I have just stepped back into the office after my second coffee-run of the afternoon! It is amazing just how much a latte warms you up though!

... that it is still balmy enough for an ice coffee! YUM!

We Eat Dessert...

... almost every day. Yummy gorgeous dessert. But we make sure that instead of sugar-laden full of nasty-stuff unhealthy treats, we stuff our faces with the yummiest organic fruit and nuts. Today's dessert: super-juicy organic pears and crunchy organic pecan nuts. YUM!

Today I LOVE The Fact...

... that tomorrow I am going away for a work seminar to beautiful Holmsbu resort and Spa for some much longed for spa treatments, a celebration over just how well the magazine is selling and a little brain storming session over future issues. Accompanied, off course, by a few glasses of bubbles! LIKE!

Time For Tea

Boy, today was just one of those days. Back to back meetings. A round on the town post-work to change lots of stuff. Nahla needed some new jeans (wait till you see the baggy "boyfriend" jean I got her - too cool for school!). I brought my amazing mum for dinner. Wrote a bunch of letter. Paid a handful of bills (so annoying spending money on boring stuff like electricity and Mastercard bills when you could so easily spend it on the new iPad2 or a Mulberry satchel, but there you go, that's being grown-up for you!) Did a mountain of ironing - I need an iron-lady! Seriously. Maybe I should reconsider my obsessive compulsive need to iron EVERYTHING - even Nahla's little babygro's?!

And now, relishing the fact that tomorrow is Wednesday and officially mid-week, I plan to sink into bed, enjoy a yummy cup of this new tea I picked up at Ting earlier and my fresh copy of Irish Tatler, oh such bliss! Sweet dreams! xx
