That is what I had to tell myself this afternoon, when Nahla was munching away at the most yummy gooey piece of brownie when out for a quick pick-me-up with the family. And if you can't indulge on a day like today, sure then when can you?!

I know the snow is pelting down outside. That temperatures are set to reach an "all time low" tonight (hey, I'm quoting SKY News Weather!). That Christmas and woolly jumpers and tinsel and mince pies are on everybody's minds at the moment and that right now, spring seems an awful long way away. But, still, a girl can dream, right? And this girl is dreaming of spring. Of bare legs and balmy nights and tons and tons of box fresh spring fashion! Dear Santa Claus... (Again!)

If you feel like I have deserved some sweet treats in my stocking (did I mention how incredibly good I have been?!), these seasonal cupcakes from Lola's would be PERFECT!

Oh, The Weather Outside Is Frightful...

.... but even a bit of crazy snowy freezing weather doesn't stop this little family from enjoying a little coffee outing! It is amazing how nice it feels to get out when you have been stuck inside for hours on end! I know I'm Norwegian and snow is not really that big a deal in terms of weather- I mean; in the winter, it snow. End of story, that is just the way things are. But here, in mild little Ireland, it is AMAZING the amount of havoc the snowfalls and freezing conditions over the last few days have caused! I never thought I would utter the words, but a little rain would be pretty welcome at this stage!

Hungry Baby!

Sometimes when my mummy or daddy is a bit slow getting my breakfast porridge ready, sure I just help myself to some Weetabix! Every man (or baby!) for himself!

Check out the utterly cute hairband I have ordered from here for my little munchkin! Now, as you may well know if you have looked at recent pictures of Nahla, she does not exactly have a lot of hair. Which can be a problem if you desperately and madly want to stick cute clips and ribbons in your child's hair (guilty as charged!). But fear not! December Is Here!

And on this most snowiest of mornings, my princess got to open her very very first advent calendar present! I don't know who was more excited; mummy or baby! With a little help the wrapping paper was unwrapped (i.e. torn to shreds) and a little blue helicopter, that could go fast along the floor when you pushed it down, came out- to much joy and pointing of fingers and clapping! Success! One down, 23 to go!
