Mirror, Mirror On The Wall...

... "hello, other baby in there that looks just like me!"

Stamped Under The Moon

I have been on the lookout for some sort of necklace where I could have Nahla's name engraved ever since she was born. I like the idea of always carrying a little reminder on me, but at the same time I am not a fan of tattoos and would never go to Angelina's length, so a necklace seemed more my thing. And now I have found it! Stamped Under The Moon creates the cutest little charm pieces, perfect perfect as a gift for a new mum for those of you who might be on the lookout for a great pressie. I ordered one with two little charm, one disk with Nahla's name engraved, and then her little December birthstone of Blue Zircon as well. And now, after a couple of clicks, all I have to do is wait for it to make its way across the Atlantic and into my mailbox!

Holiday Reads!

Chic Lit at its very best! On "I-can't-believe-I-am-in-bed-this-early" nights in Naas, when cuddled up waiting for BF to finish work, I couldn't put this book down. Such a cute story!

Days In Dublin

Just thought I'd share some pictures from Dublin the other day, when the sun was shining and Mummy and Nahla enjoyed some brunch, shopping and gossip with good friends!

Home Again!

After lovely days in Ireland, with Daddy, doting grandparents, friends, Starbucks, shopping, crawling exercise and in general just a really really good time, Mummy and Nahla have arrived back in a very rainy Oslo. Flight went ever so smoothly- as usual- with the air hostess commenting on how well behaved my little munchkin was. Needless to say my Mummy Heart melted- again! It seems to be melting a lot lately, having the cutest 8-month old in the world seem to have that effect on me!

Anyway, days in Ireland were spent as mentioned, simply reveling in the company of dear family and friends, and with cozy walks, fun shopping trips, lazy lunches, shiny new magazines, too many coffees and catching up on lovely lovely sleep. Bliss. Utter, utter bliss. Nahla, who is 8-months today(!) kept practicing her crawling skills and now seems only days away from cracking the code. She manages to get up on her knees, wiggle around and look really excited before she inevitably falls back down. But her little determined face assured me this will happen. And will happen soon. So scary and so exciting, all these new milestones, all these new moments! Being this happy and perfectly fulfilled makes me incredibly grateful for all I have.

And now we are home. Nahla is tucked up in bed after a day of traveling and Mummy is trying to catch up on post, paperwork, laundry and all the other fun stuff that comes with being an adult!

Today's Yummy Mummy Style Crush

Loving the effortless beauty Brooke Burke always seems to pull off, no matter what the occasion. This oh-so-yummy mummy and Dancing with the Stars host was spotted out shopping for an aquarium with her four kids - Neriah, 10, Sierra, 8, Rain, 3, and Shaya, 2 - in Brentwood, California. When the 38-year-old(!) mother of four returned home, she took to Twitter to discuss the pricey shopping trip:
"Shopping for pet supples, almost as expensive as back to school!!!"

Brooke had her eldest girls with ex-husband Garth Fisher, while she and David Charvet welcomed Rain and Shaya. Love the name Rain, by the way, so lyrical and fab!

While On The Subject...

... I also ordered her this adorable little suit from Mini Boden last night. Will be perfect for just putting her into when going off somewhere in the car or just having to run to the shop now as the days are getting colder.

Danish Delights

Strange that it took a shopping trip in Dublin for me to discover Danish brand Norlie, and their cuter than cute baby clothes! In between brunch and popping into my old office to catch up on what's up in the world of fashion magazines yesterday, I fell into a little children's boutique just off Grafton Street- and what sheer luck that was indeed. Stuffed with goodies from labels like No Added Sugar, Mini Noa Noa and now my new love, Norlie. I picked up two little tunic tops for Nahla, which will look fab worn with jeans or treggings, or possibly also her new denim mini from Next. My little oh-my-God-I-cannot-believe-she-is-8 months-tomorrow fashionista!

Today's Yummy Mummy Style Crush

Love love love this pictures of the always beautiful Jennifer Garner and her utterly adorable 1 1/2-year-old daughter Seraphina. The casually dressed mum was snapped grabbing a Starbucks on the Upper West Side of New York City on Saturday. How cute does Sera look in her all-pink outfit and shiny, gold shoes?! A budding fashionista for sure, Suri Cruise, watch your well-dressed back!

Dublin Darlings

After a night cuddled up with my little princess- as Daddy had to sleep in the next room given his alarm would be going off at 3.30 A.M courtesy of his early flight to Bristol- we woke to quite the stormy morning here in Kildare. This morning you could practically feel autumn lurking around the corner, and both Nahla and Mummy can currently be seen rocking some v. cute flannel pj's!

And as BF/Dady is away, I think it is the perfect day for us girlies to head up to Dublin for the day, indulge in some Brown Thomas retail therapy and meet the lovely R and her little man- Nahla's date(!)- for brunch at The Market Bar. Oh, and a pit stop at Stabuck's on Dawson Street wouldn't be completely wrong either!

Regarding retail therapy, this Mummy's autumn/winter look is nearly complete- courtesy of some much needed shopping trips and wardrobe updates. I am totally delighted with my new season key pieces and will share pictures when back home this weekend. Think denim, camel, navy, a hint of leather and some lovely chunky knits! Bring on chilly mornings and blusetry days, we are ready!
