Look at my little munchkin being all mommy-like with her little doll this afternoon! So so cute and totally melted my mommy heart! Nahla has had this doll sonce she was a mere six weeks old, when my grandmother (Nahla's great grandmother) bought it for her when we visited for the very first time, but it is only in the last couple of months she has paid any attention to it at all. And now, this last week, she LOVES her doll.
More correctly; she LOVES giving "her baby" some "mi". MI is what Nahla calls milk, has, in fact, since long before she turned one. It was one of her very first words, and it was just the cutest thing, she would stand in her cot and call out - in a sad little voice - "miiiii!" Whereupon somebody would jump to her attention and provide her with a yummy bottle of "mi"!
Now, is it just me, or is my little cupcake practicing for when she (at some point) becomes a big sister?! Relax, we are not talking trying for number two anytime soon, and sure; we're not really the "trying for" kind of couple anyway, we're all about happy accidents!
