Two Girls, A Windy Day And A Magical Place

Today, on a little outing out and about, I decided I had to stop buy a bookstore to pick up a book I have been wanting to get for ages (more of which later). It was crazy windy out- and so instead of walking down to Tannum in Paléet shoping centre, which I had originally planned, Nahla and Mummy popped into the huge Libris store in Grensen instead, as we were in the neighborhood, and it was less than tempting to walk any further, really.

And what luck we did! This store- which I have passed by hundreds of times but never set foot in, turned out to be a magical lovely place! Because not only did they have my book (check!), they also had an über-cozy café on the second floor, where Mummy could warm herself with a much needed latte (check, check!). And to top it all off, they had a third floor- designated to children- filled with lovely children's books, toys, comfy cushion filled sofas, baskets filled with magazines for mummies to read while little people play, more toys, hanging chairs filled with cushions and cuddly toys; all in all this really magical place that I just know we are going to keep coming back to.

Nahla was amazed at all this, crawling around on the floor, looking at the Igglepiggle's and the little wooden toy stove and the hundreds and hundreds of brightly colored books. And so despite being in a bit of a hurry today, we ended up spending over an hour in this little city haven. Forgetting about the stormy weather outside and the chores needing to be done, Nahla and Mummy cuddled and read and played- and left a little happier, a little calmer and a little wiser than when we came in- because this little city secret is now ours to keep!
